Well, actually, there is another problem in Ax2. According to it, even under the predicate reading on the greeks, if ‘colored black’ is positive, ‘colored but not black’ is negative. However, the allegedly negative property is constituted by other colors, such as yellow, green, …. This leads to a dilemma. First horn: regarding other colors as negative. In that case, slingshot seems to revisit. (I shall omit the detailed illustration.) Second: accepting that a property constituted only of positives may be negative. In that case, Ax3 would not hold trivially. So… I still think that Ax2 was not his best option for his aim.
