Monday's announcement from @NicolaSturgeon will make such a difference for so many of the families we work with at CAP. It will mean being able to turn on the heating and buy fresh fruit and vegetables for young children.

The latest #UniversalCredit figures, released today, show nearly 6 million people were hit by the £20/wk cut which came into force in Oct. The most recent data shows almost 3.5 million are not in employment, meaning they won’t benefit from the govt’s reduction to the taper rate.
