White Australia activist Joel Davis will spend at least three more weeks in solitary confinement for a social media post after a magistrate rejected his application to be released on bail to spend Christmas with his newborn son.

Mr Davis has only spent 7 hours outside of his cell since November 20, and has been denied his book deliveries by the remand prison, but is in high spirits and determined to fight the charge.
