Disgusted with @BigMotoringWrld. Drove car off forecourt, scraping sound at 50mph of damaged engine protection. TBMW refused to fix it. 1 year later Ombudsman forced them to. Don’t believe @BigMotoringWrld claims of excellent after sales support/apps etc. Rubbish
@easyJet please stop announcing flights are delayed due to people with reduced mobility or disabilities. When your staff are challenged on it, may they next time have the good grac3 to apologise. #microaggression#discrimination
A key theme at the #BSLLegal conference today was the need for interpreters and professionals to work together for improved outcomes for Deaf people accessing the legal system.
Congratulations to the organisers and presenters - a really useful conference.
🚨 WARNING 🚨
We wanted to remind all our Wallet Watchers to be careful online amid the rise of financial scams. If you see ads claiming to be Martin – be they for cryptocurrency, investments, banks – they are not genuine. Please remember that Martin NEVER does ads.
At the end of our last series Martin warned about the dangers of deepfake scams…

I'm unimpressed at @amazon's plans to wind down Amazon Smile. The small UK care home charity which houses retired volunteers now won't benefit from my donations, but I'll still be paying Amazon prices. Are you going to donate to it directly?
@DavidLloydUK Great to hear thank you. However this has been the state of the ladies changing rooms for the last 3+ weeks. The only private changing cubicles closed for at least a week. Any sign of this being resolved or some customer compensation?
@DavidLloydUK has the Woking jacuzzi been set to cold on purpose or is there a technical fault? If the latter then when is it due to be repaired? It was freezing last night!
My beloved, Zeltinis, told me I would have to pay £3k for him to be able to leave his oil rig to come and visit me
I therefore decided to visit him instead, but he has been very resistant to it
He’s presumably just worried for my safety, which makes me love him even more

Two collaborative articles in this month's Newsli. In the first, @WLedeux and I examine the impact of remote working on telephone interpreting, looking at what's changed since my 2002 Deaf Worlds publication.
