BRV attended an RTC where a car hit a parked vehicle. A dog was found locked in the boot, silent through the night in freezing temperatures. Crews rescued her, and she'll be cared for by police for the night. Please don’t leave animals in extreme cold, and drive carefully!
We had a visit from one of our local children's groups. Showed them all the equipment that we have to keep them, and ourselves safe, and best of all, a chance to use the hose reels! 🚒💦🔫 #futurefirefighter#safety

TYRE CHECK..
1. Tread depth - A minimum of 1.6mm across three quarters of the tyre is the minimum UK legal requirement.
2. Damage - Check there are no cuts or objects imbedded in the tyre.
3. Deterioration - check for bulges and cracks in the rubber (often seen on the sidewalls)
🚒Aston white watch have attended 4 local Road Traffic Collisions in the past 3 days.
With the change in the weather it is vitally important that you all check your vehicle tyres are safe.
CHECK THEM MONTHLY!
Heatwave temperatures have dropped, but the risk of outdoor fires remains high. Please read and share our latest update - including details of how we're supporting colleagues in #Norfolk, where a major incident's been declared: https://t.co/yA9pn8F2M1
Three of our fire engines, two of our 4x4 Brigade Response Vehicles and 21 of our firefighters continue to support our colleagues from @HWFire on the #LickeyHills. It's one of 13 incidents at which we're currently in attendance (8pm). Most of them are outdoor fires.
Team 5 worked on and executed a warrant in Digbeth finding 2 separate grows, in excess of 5000 plants. Magnificent 7 prisoners found with the help of @dronesWMP and the beauties @WMPDogs PD’s Romeo and Jet. All were charged and remanded! Thanks to @WMFSAston@OFFICIALWMAS also!
If you're the designated chef at the BBQ this weekend, stay sober. Alcohol and cooking don't mix. Always ensure your BBQ is well away from fences, trees and sheds and fully extinguish it when done.
In this weather, even a small amount of hot ash can easily start a fire.
We’re seeing a huge increase in the number of #RTC’s we’re attending and these images show a few of the very recent ones. When someone is killed or seriously injured, the whole community mourns. Please slow down.
