With average annual global temperatures hovering around 1.1 to 1.3 degrees, we are already seeing the consequences of small changes in global warming. Latest BIOdiversity COP in Montreal called for more actions to protect our planet's species against backdrop of global warming
There are some promising signs following the outcomes of COP27 with policies and commitments to keep global warming below 2.5 degrees. Monitoring and reporting by WMO and IPCC on latest trends and science is important to remind us of the pressing requirement to do more.
