@NateAFischer @aaron_renn Evangelicals have their liturgies, they just look different. I promise you, you can sing praise and worship in a rote manner too, whether you engage is connected to your faith and your desire to do so, not in the outward form of worship of the church.

@aaron_renn Aaron, I assume you're referring to the gospel as the kerygma. As a Catholic, I agree that in the pews this is relatively unknown. That's a shame. It has no bearing, however, on whether the sacraments are valid or whether the R.C. church is the true church.

@Meldougherty77 Melissa, as a believer, do you not have freedom to not do good works? It’s not automatic. We must choose to love which results in action. Also, if GW are a result of salvation, how do you explain GW done by non Christians?
