@taco_talks Be honest, you may disagree with the Catholic understanding of prayer ≠ worship…. But you know the Catholic understanding is that we don’t, nor would ever worship Mary. Don’t be a troll, honest dialog only.
@HwsEleutheroi No answers for poligamy, so attack? James, you know enough about the teachings of the Catholic Church to know that this is not okay, even for Catholics. It would be a mistake on your part to assume or to imply that this is commonplace and you know it brother.
@NateAFischer@aaron_renn Evangelicals have their liturgies, they just look different. I promise you, you can sing praise and worship in a rote manner too, whether you engage is connected to your faith and your desire to do so, not in the outward form of worship of the church.
@aaron_renn Aaron, I assume you're referring to the gospel as the kerygma. As a Catholic, I agree that in the pews this is relatively unknown. That's a shame. It has no bearing, however, on whether the sacraments are valid or whether the R.C. church is the true church.
@smashbaals But is in biblically licit? I think it’s funny the sola crowd separating themselves from polygamy. By whose authority do you take a position?
@Meldougherty77 Melissa, as a believer, do you not have freedom to not do good works? It’s not automatic. We must choose to love which results in action. Also, if GW are a result of salvation, how do you explain GW done by non Christians?
@queenizzidabell@ProtecttheFaith Gotcha… I was for it too. But it’s not up to me, you, or St Leopold either. Holy Mother Church hasn’t asked our opinion, nor does she need to. I have to humble myself and trust in Jesus.
@HwsEleutheroi@Protestia Interesting question, are you trying to distance his position from your tribe?
Why not address the fact that his position is biblical, and yet you and 99.999999999% of the “sola” crowd would say no to that position based on other biblical texts. Whose authority decides?
