Today, #WOLREC & #imswedish visited Kavunguti Cluster, GVH Mbulu, T/A Maganga, Salima, #Malawi to hear testimonies of #womeneconomicempowerment. The Cluster makes beautiful basketry items and clay pots. They are building each of the 30 Cluster members an iron sheet roofed house.

WOLREC Executive Director, Maggie Kathewera Banda, is conducting a Women's Assembly in Ntchisi where 60 women from all T/As in the district are discussing issues that affect them. The issues will be used to advocate for empowerment of women in Ntchisi & other districts in Malawi.
Women's Manifesto Movement will this Friday, 9th October, 2020, hold demonstrations over President Lazarus Chakwera’s failure to include more women in parastatal boards. The demos will take place in all the three cities of Malawi.
