Some of our WOMA graduates from 2025 receiving sewing machines at a ceremony at Namasuba College of Commerce. It was also a celebration of their success in recent examinations. The women contribute 50% of the cost of the machines and WOMA pays the other half.

The launch of the @womatrust Sewing Space was attended by officials from @usmissionuganda, local politicians & NGO's and also generated much interest from the public. It was an opportunity for our trainees to showcase their products. We are now seeking sponsors to keep it going.
Day 1 of our Uganda trip preparing for our latest venture. In our 20th year we want to launch our Sewing Space, where our graduates can work after training. It will have high quality machines, internet access for marketing products & will enable them to work together effectively

Yesterday some of our new students arrived at Namasuba College of Commerce after making the long journey from their homes in Eastern Uganda. Today they’ll be joined by 7 women from the Kampala area & will begin their 6 month course in fashion & design. We wish them well.

WOMA’s most prolific fundraisers are cycling around the Isle of Wight for WOMA. They started in 2014 & last year they were joined by their son Ioan & he’s back again this year! It’s a long way around the Isle of Wight so the want to raise lots of money!
