I also want to remind you all this is but a fraction of the people affected. About half my london trans freinds werent able to attend and many didnt know about the March till i mentioned it so there are so many more people out there who need to be accepted as humans.
If you have netflix , watch Nimona, a film based on the comic by ND Stevenson who was behind the new she-ra and the lumberJanes. Its a sci fi fantasy that has a lot of important messages in it and makes you think in addition to being solid fun. I feel it will be meemed a lot
To all the artist who made across the spiderverse. Thank you that was amazing. Less funny but still an amazing journey and even prittyer than the original.
Just watch gardians of the galaxy vol 3. going into it i expeced a finarly and this wasn't that. the guardians mostly finished their journey in avenger films and this was more of an epilogue film. There were still cool moments but was more about emotional closure than growth
A tall black guy with dreads, sunglasses, an maron floor length coat, a long scarf and a pin badge of a question mark got on the train. If he had come up to me and told me he was the doctor i would be delighted to be his companion.
Had a wedding card in mind for my dnd playing cousine @DungeonMasterAJ and was then shoked to find it didnt already exist so had to commission @PaintingTinyMen to make my art for it. Congratulations to the happy couple.
I watched the new part of the arcane makeing of documentry. At the end of part 1 production was halted becase the pilot wasnt good enough. Part 2 should be called. "And then we hired women in postions of power and everything got better." Turns out diversity is good.
So i just watched "the sea beast" and for the first time ever wish i had seen a film in the cinima as the scale is awe inspiring. Its released on nexflix so get the biggest tv you have access to. Action was wonderful and i only wish it were called pirates of the colossus.
Today is london pride and i won't be attending. My heart is with my London lgbtqia+ community but i don't like parades. If they could hold a pride boradgames convention I'm there though.
So cuberpunk 2077 has a board game. I'm hoping they capture the spirit of the video game, like if you stop looking at cars the cars will change type and can drive though barriers. Now that would be a cool mini.
My only criticism is that it delivers on being everything and everywhere but its not all at once which means its going to take you on a crafted journy of connected moments but you'll never have a mood before watching that this whole film fits. Its more of an art experience.
It really did feel it was doing everything disney has been trying with parental drama, generational guilt, parallel universes, memorable action, helariouse moments, queer representation and tearjerking drama. Only this film did it all better.
Watched "everything, everywhere all at once" and feel pretty confident calling it the best film of the year as it is the best film I've seen in years. After so many Disney 7/10 its nice to see a perfect 10.
When @DanNerdCubed releases the first chapter of his book but i swear this is just like that thing my best freind had me read over Christmas. I call it the "paradox paradox" paradox. https://t.co/QG9z5EaIsZ
My good friend @paintingtinymen painted me this glorious gundam print as a late birthday present and it was easily worth the wait. I believe ther are accepting commissions too and they do more than gundams if for some strang reason that's not your thing. #thankyou#raisyourflag
@riceandbeans__ Thank you. Its bit odd as i thought i had come out a few years ago here. Ive even made jokes about being nb. Hope your gender journy is going smother.
Now its updated with "they/them" which is because I'm non binary and don't use male pronouns. If no nuteral word exists i do default to male terms. E.g. if i had a kid I'd be their parent rather than their farther but as there isnt a nutrual daddy or mummy id be daddy.
