After an intense campaign that saw us host several regional rounds and then a national championship, we are finally at the end of the road.

We have concluded the East African Debate Championship-2026.
It was not just a tournament, it was an event that formed the intersection of culture and intellect.
The kids were brilliant, vibrant and talented. The vibe was infectious.

This is the Greenhill Academy team which won the debate competitions last night. Here they pose for a photo moment upon receiving their trophy, medals, and certificates.
The big announcement has finally been made. Greenhill Academy are the champions of this year's East Africa Debate Championship.
The team was composed of Hellena Namutebi, Glen Mukisa, and Ruth Maloba.
In the public speech category, the student who emerged best is Alyao Gideon of St. Henry's College Kitovu. Big congratulations to him.🎉

The best speakers in the debate track at EADC 2026 have been determined.
1️⃣The top accolade went to Arinda Anison of Ntare School.
2️⃣ Mukisa Glen of Greenhill. Academy came second.
3️⃣ The third best is Musinguzi Keron of Ntare School.
