sister, mountaineer, adventurer, learner, teacher, & PK-8 Principal. I don’t want to fix the system. I want to break it. #equity#relationships#engagement
I am so excited to use the stop light chart that I learned about from Hoyt Middle. What a great way to increase transparency around the work we're doing for district improvement! @adamddrummond#MSC2023
@HeathPeine It's not about the numbers. It's about the story behind the numbers. Focus on the strategies that will support what we need right now. #AVL2022#VisibleLearning
@Spotify pleaseeeee add a feature where I can come back to a playlist right where I left off after I play something else after hearing some random artist that we know did another song we like. I don’t want to restart the playlist!!!! We need to be able to “resume”!!!
@Jess_hannigan@JohnHannigan75 just read #DontSuspendMe! Very inspiring! Question…Are there any good resources out there for the “instructional” part of alt discipline? I’m really interested in some ready-made lessons to help with this. We’re pretty short handed atm.
@apple when will you add a feature to schedule text messages to be sent at a later time? We need this!!! So often I am finally ready to respond to people at 2:00 am and I don’t want to look like a crazy person. Please help!!!!!!
P.S. @nampatel I desperately want a prequel (or several) with stories about the aunts! Or their children! These characters are too good not to have more!
@nampatel I absolutely loved Meena Dave! I am doing a series of book challenges and one challenge is to make something you read about in a book. Tonight I made my own Masala Chai! It was delicious and very soothing! But I will definitely be tweaking my recipe like Meena… 🫖📖
@miss_paskin One of my parents emailed me to let me know that her 8th grader thinks my school is “base.” We both had to look it up and it made me so happy to hear my kids like our school in their own lingo ☺️
@_CrystalMWatson We’ve switched our language to “prepared” or “less prepared” it implies that it’s our job to better prepare students for their learning goals. “Low” sounds like a more finite assessment of a students abilities.
