@srcamm @Goodable One of my favorite pictures and stories in a very long time. #charactereducation (and just plain being nice to and caring for others) in action.
Felt good to be back out on the turf coaching a game this past Friday night. Thanks @ChattinKeith for the shirts. I know a few other coaches who would like a shirt if you do the sale again.
So proud of our #WissNation student athletes! Our tennis doubles teams wear masks while they play? Why? To protect their classmate and teammate nearby (not themselves!), on the same side of the net. And also because it's just the right thing to do. #charactereducation in action!
These Wiss teachers are making us look good for sure, but more importantly, they are making it their business to ensure their students know they are there for them in these difficult times. So proud to be among such dedicated and caring professionals! https://t.co/YxGinmX9Tf
Helping others matters. #WissNation has students, staff AND PARENTS modeling #charactereducation in action with an awesome example of #payitforward. Take a look! https://t.co/9cgyStCObT
Yet another example #WissNation#charactereducation in action. Way to go, Olivia! WHS senior helps health care workers amid coronavirus pandemic https://t.co/VkbIaBCOSm via @lansreporter
So proud of #WissNation coming together in this time of unprecedented challenge to help those in need. #charactereducation in action! And our volunteers are awesome! Lunches available to our students--please help spread the word.
Three grade level winners competed in the school-wide Spelling Bee contest last Friday. The winning word was PLACID. The 2020 WMS Champion Speller is Michael Sapozhnikov (who won last year!), and Nick Mitchell is the runner-up. Congratulations to all participants! #WissPride
So proud of Grayson Ruffner & his #Rotary Club of Blue Bell "Rising Star Award"-gifts for patients who have not had a visitor all year, inspirational cards for a #WissNation parent awaiting a heart transplant..whatever it takes to be nice to others. #charactereducation in action!
Such a wonderful evening spent with some of my terrific third graders! Thank you for helping share out some of the amazing things we do with @SkypeClassroom to our School Board Members! #ProudTeacher 😄💻
Look what I found in Blue Bell E.S. 1st graders, honoring Dr. King's dream & showing how we blend our quest for elite academic performance with an unyielding commitment to #charactereducation. And showing the world that in #WissNation, helping others and being nice matters.
What’s so amazingly powerful about the @MARCHTrilogy is that it shows how STUDENTS can be and NEED to be involved in civics. Their voice matters and makes meaningful change. Don’t just wait for someone to be the savior. So honored to teach these books. @WSDSuper@pedroarivera2
How far can your sleigh travel? Each K-nex piece was given a dollar amount and they had to spend between $25 and $75. After our first trial we modified based on what we learned! TOTAL ENGAGEMENT! @StonyCreek_WSD@WissahickonSD#wisslearns@KNEX
