🚨🇦🇺 After winning leagues in Turkey and Japan, Juan Mata has just signed in as new for Western Sydney Wanderers in the A-League.
He’s aiming to win another championship in a different country, massive move for Australian football. ✨🇪🇸
@VinceRugari The underlying point behind all these attacks is their premise that the AL can’t survive without News Corp. It’s how they roll…Rugby Union suffered the same treatment. They’re like spoilt children, trying to rip to pieces a toy they no longer love.
CONCEPT: How to reduce Origin's impact on NRL
- 3 consecutive weeks
- Women's State of Origin Friday night
- Men's State of Origin Saturday night
- 9s knockout competition open to NRL, QRL and NSWRL clubs played in opposite market to Origin
Thoughts?
Disgusting, @SunSport.
I'd like to know your reasoning for using Saka here? He's the face of defeat, why? He played 25 minutes and was not on the pitch when England conceded. What about Foden, Palmer, or the captain, Kane?
Spending on youth development, women’s football, community programmes and infrastructure does not count against PSR.
Performative nonsense that the paid City fans and bots will lap up and spread like wildfire.
So Man city would rather start a civil war and drag the whole PL into their mire than face responsibility for their behaviour. They truly are disgusting and an utter disgrace to the beautiful game. PL must stand strong against them. Kick them out.
If rules are "anti-competitive" yet you win six out of seven league titles and a load of cups, then either the rules are not actually "anti-competitive" or - if they are - then you must be ignoring those rules. Which one is it then @ManCity ? #115charges
This is now a tipping point for me as a Blue…if these charges are proven, all those beautiful memories will be tainted. I still hope we’re found innocent, but if we’re not, CFG will not only be answerable to the EPL, but to us too. And I promise you, I’ll be pissed as hell.
Locally, CFG are firmly embedded in the halls of power here…if they’re committed to unfettered spending, why haven’t they challenged the AL salary cap & driven Melbn City to being a super club?
As a lifelong City fan, I don’t think this is a good look. I’ve long argued the rules are designed to protect the cartel, but if you’ve signed up to them, you abide by them. Taking legal action at the point when you’re facing charges reeks of panic…it’s too late for this.
News that Manchester City are effectively suing the Premier League will lead many to conclude they expect the punishment for the 115 charges to be brutal. You would not do this with a business adversary you want to do a deal with.
Is their relegation now inevitable?
If rival fans didn't hate Man City already, they surely do now..
Cheating their way to Title after Title, and when called out on their dodgy dealings look to sue The Premier League for charging them..
Would the Premier League miss Man City? They were nobody's 15 years ago..
Man City know they’re done for, all the executives are jumping ship, the managers already said he’s going, KdB making noises about joining the Saudi league & the only ally they’ve got is the other state owned club Newcastle United
Let’s hope this is the end & not the beginning
Man City's strategy is to go on the offensive, discredit and sow chaos. They will never accept a guilty verdict. This is their last move and I can't see how it succeeds.
