I've never felt this much behind as a programmer. The profession is being dramatically refactored as the bits contributed by the programmer are increasingly sparse and between. I have a sense that I could be 10X more powerful if I just properly string together what has become available over the last ~year and a failure to claim the boost feels decidedly like skill issue. There's a new programmable layer of abstraction to master (in addition to the usual layers below) involving agents, subagents, their prompts, contexts, memory, modes, permissions, tools, plugins, skills, hooks, MCP, LSP, slash commands, workflows, IDE integrations, and a need to build an all-encompassing mental model for strengths and pitfalls of fundamentally stochastic, fallible, unintelligible and changing entities suddenly intermingled with what used to be good old fashioned engineering. Clearly some powerful alien tool was handed around except it comes with no manual and everyone has to figure out how to hold it and operate it, while the resulting magnitude 9 earthquake is rocking the profession. El decálogo del buen negacionista de pensiones ☕️📜

Esto de las pensiones ya le toca a usted las narices. Cada vez que se sienta en su terraza favorita en Lagasca a tomarse un café y pastitas, abre el periódico y ¡zas!, la columna de un niñato hablando del problema de las pensiones en España. ¿Cómo va a disfrutar así de su bien merecida jubilación?

No se preocupe. En un ejercicio de servicio público, aquí tiene un decálogo que puede emplear en cualquier situación. Léalo un par de veces, memorícelo y no volverán a amargarle el café de media mañana:

1️⃣ Lo más importante: esto es un bulo. No hay problema alguno de pensiones. Como usted no sabe nada de contabilidad nacional ni de hacienda pública, siempre podremos encontrar alguna cifra sacada de contexto que lo “demuestre”.

2️⃣ Los culpables: si es un bulo, ¿por qué insisten estos niñatos? Claro: son esbirros de la banca. La gran banca quiere gestionar fondos de pensiones y forrarse. Da igual que quienes defienden reformar el sistema quieran mantener el reparto o que cuando proponen un pilar de capitalización digan que sea público o gestionado por mutuas sin ánimo de lucro. La banca es lo peor de lo peor. (Por cierto, revise esas acciones del Santander que compró hace años y que últimamente tan bien le han rentado).

3️⃣ La ignorancia ajena: estos niñatos no saben de lo que hablan. Son ingenieros (¿qué sabrá un ingeniero de números?) o economistas (peor aún: uno que intentó estudiar ingeniería, suspendió mates de primero y se cambió de grado). Y lo más grave: algunos viven en Estados Unidos, ese país donde la gente se muere sin seguro médico, hay que vivir en un búnker por si te matan y, sobre todo, la comida es malísima. Después de las pensiones, seguro que quieren prohibir la tortilla de patatas.

4️⃣ Cambio de tema: si insisten en que hay déficit, todo es por las pensiones no contributivas. Da igual que los niñatos hablen solo del déficit del sistema contributivo. Prestar atención es aburridísimo.

5️⃣ El gasto superfluo: si no queda más remedio y hay déficit, se arregla eliminando gastos inútiles. Si es de izquierdas: la Iglesia, la Corona y defensa. Si es de derechas: los coches oficiales, el Ministerio de Igualdad y las “paguitas”. Da igual que sean órdenes de magnitud distintos: ya decidimos que usted no sabe nada de contabilidad nacional. Usted ha oído hablar del “coste de oportunidad” de reducciones del gasto público, pero eso suena muy complicado para perder tiempo entendiéndolo.

6️⃣ Que paguen los ricos: el problema se resuelve si Amancio Ortega y todos los cientos de billonarios españoles pagan lo que deben. Con eso habría dinero para multiplicar por diez todas las pensiones. ¿Que las cifras no cuadran? Sin importancia: usted no sabe nada de hacienda pública.

7️⃣ El verdadero problema: no son las pensiones altas, son los salarios bajos. Aunque con salarios más altos también habría más gastos. Total, ¿para qué pensar en los efectos más de 30 segundos?

8️⃣ La justicia: usted solo quiere que le paguen lo cotizado. Aunque la renta vitalicia que cobra sea actuarialmente un 60 % más alta que el valor de sus cotizaciones capitalizadas al crecimiento del PIB (la tasa correcta). ¡Pero si Pepe se murió al día siguiente de jubilarse! ¿Qué bobada es esa del “valor actuarial”? Ignore ese invento estadístico rompedor llamado “media”.

9️⃣ La exageración: si alguien propone no revalorizar pensiones máximas, en realidad lo que quieren es que mi abuela de 98 años, que cobra la mínima, se muera de hambre.

🔟 La indignación moral: estos niñatos odian a los pobres y a los mayores (porque trabajan para la banca). Usted, en cambio, defiende con orgullo los derechos sociales y solo quiere crear más. ¿Cómo se sostiene? Lea de nuevo los nueve puntos anteriores.

¿Verdad que ya no hay problema alguno? Sin darse cuenta, se ha terminado el café. El camarero se acerca. Pídase otro.
