While the festival will now not be taking place on Sunday, @WansteadParish are holding a service then in memory of HM Queen Elizabeth II - 5:30pm in Christ Church. All are welcome to attend.

Out of respect for Her Majesty The Queen Wanstead Festival has been postponed.

The Festival, originally planned to take place on Sunday 18th September, the day before Her Majesty’s state funeral, will now take place on Sunday 2nd October.

Barbecues are BANNED in Redbridge parks.

In the heatwave disposable barbecues are causing fires in Redbridge and beyond - damaging parks, killing wildlife and destroying plants.

Our Parks Patrol Officers are out on patrol to catch people breaking the ban.
