Questioning the ethical framework and social processes/results that come from preferential treatment is not saying you are inferior. If anything, preferential policies imply some level of functional “inferiority.”

That aside, black folks are making very counterproductive moves. You can’t literally attack people for questioning or pushing back on your views, then expect your peers and colleagues not to harbor doubts about your intellectual capabilities—this video just reinforces what many (not just whites) are taking to be obvious.

And you all can say it “doesn’t matter what they think,” but that’s not how you advance in the marketplace of ideas or in an economy as interconnected as ours. You need people, especially when you don’t dominate any important industry. Entertainment will not suffice.

We need to steep our children in the rigorous intellectual traditions of the West, have them familiarize themselves and think critically about the ideas, then adjust their views in accordance with our best evidence and reasoning.

As it stands, these kids are close-minded and not intellectually curious at all. They just “feel” a certain way about the black condition in the world and lash out if anyone tries to decentralize their victimization.

Read John McWhorter, Thomas Sowell, Glenn Loury— true black intellectuals. Then move on to works from Steven Pinker, Jo Heinrich and Jonathan Haidt. Y’all have to put the popular liberation writings to the side for a second.
