@GASMakin@olliehart7@NICEComms Patients being told they’re being referred to pain clinic for an opiate taper is an issue…optimising medicines doesn’t always mean reducing them and we certainly don’t do it till the patient is ready…but many won’t even step through the door if they’ve been told to expect this.

We’re now open to referrals for Herefordshire residents from Primary and Secondary Care. Referral processes and criteria have been sent to all local providers. Outpatient clinics will be held at The County Hospital, Hereford, starting early next month. @WyeValleyNHS
