Over the years I have come to know @ArleneFosterUK well. She is a dedicated public servant and a champion for Northern Ireland. She has made a significant contribution to the UK. I wish her well as she steps down as First Minister and hope we continue to hear her voice.

@PaulClark_UTV@SommeAssoc@SomBattlefields The Monaco weekend with you and he will remain long in the memory. The catalyst for so many great friendships and so many fulfilling days since. And more to come yet.
@WW1CentenaryNI@SommeAssoc What a wonderful person! I have been a regular visitor to the @SomBattlefields since the 1990s. On one occasion, Ian was the Lord Mayor of Belfast. In the rain, he spoke to me, wearing his Mayoral chain. He never flinched. This photograph shows him wearing the tie of the Dubs..
Dr Samuel Ian Gamble Adamson, OBE.
It is with deep sadness that we heard of the sudden passing following illness, of our Founder member, former Chairman and subsequent Vice President, Dr Ian Adamson. It was a privilege to have worked with you for 25 years.
Had the pleasure of meeting once or twice at commemorative events in Decade of Centenaries. Despite very different world views, he was someone deeply committed to bridge building and respecting traditions. RIP.
Sad news... Ex-Belfast Lord Mayor Dr Ian Adamson passes away. Tributes are paid to former @uuponline MLA who described himself as 'a British Unionist, an Irish Royalist and an Ulster Loyalist' - https://t.co/xu1KDUN9hY
Folks - just been informed of the sudden passing of Dr Ian Adamson OBE, a founding member of the Northern Ireland First World Centenary Committee. A true trailblazer and frontiersman, committed Ulster Scot, Irish speaker historian. A great friend who will be much missed.
