Europe is just absolutely terrible at reading the room.
As if there wasn't enough tension over things like the EU's handling of Iran, requests for support in Ukraine,
They're basically trying to fund their own bureaucracy by robbing US companies with ridiculous fines and fees.
The Pulaski County Commonwealth’s Attorney appears to be responding to AG Jay Jones’s statement in my story today:
“Commonwealth’s Attorney are elected to pursue justice, not merely ‘to enforce our laws.’”
To every Kentuckian who supported our campaign and to President Trump for trust and confidence, THANK YOU.
I'm ready to deliver a major victory for common sense in November and go to work for our Commonwealth as the next U.S. Senator. I want to thank Daniel Cameron for a spirited campaign.
WRONG - Now it’s finished.
SCOTUS unanimously just slammed the door on your desperate appeal. Virginia Supreme Court killed your gerrymander, and the highest court in the land said “nope.”
Checkmate.
House Democrats started the current mid-decade redistricting battle in NY before the 2024 election. Now that it’s backfired on them, they are pushing a stunning next step: nuke the judicial branch of government and pack the court!
They are anarchists now.
If VA Democrats want to play dirty and openly defy the Virginia Supreme Court...
US House Republicans could just refuse to seat any Virginia Democrats from such an obviously illegal election
Any Democrat who supports destroying Virginia’s judicial branch (just to pick up a couple congressional seats!) will do the same to the U.S. Supreme Court in a heartbeat
Somewhere in Alexandria, Don Beyer let out a big sigh of relief, no longer facing the terrifying possibility of interacting with Virginians who own tractors.
Actually, the Va. Supreme Court protected the constitutional rights of all Virginians... including the value of their votes, and most importantly, their due process rights under the Virginia Constitution.
Saying crazy things like this, doesn't make them true @RepJeffries
This is the correct decision, and it was always going to end up this way.
Democrats broke laws that they helped write in the first place, blew through deadlines, wrote a biased and misleading ballot question, and lied to the voters in all of their advertising to support the referendum.
The voters of Virginia banned gerrymandering six years ago, and that ban remains in effect today.
This is a great day for fair elections and the rule of law, and it’s a great day for the Commonwealth of Virginia.
