We hope you’re stocked with bread, milk, and lots of toilet paper, as a significant winter weather event is headed our way with a large snow accumulation expected.
On a more serious note, the extreme cold expected poses a great concern for the citizens of Tulsa and our Officers out working to keep people safe.
We want to encourage people to stay home and take caution if they have to head out on the roads.
We want everyone to stay safe and help those in need when you can. If you see someone in need of shelter, you can use the Homeless Street Outreach Request form online to help get them assistance: https://t.co/umGBc9Hupe
Here’s a message from Captain Meulenberg, including our video from last year, with winter weather safety tips.

HELPFUL INFORMATION:
- As conditions worsen, Tulsa Police will transition to "Operation Slick Streets" on major highways and interstates, responding only to calls involving injuries.
- If it’s an emergency, call 911. Otherwise, call the Tulsa Police Non-Emergency line at 918-596-9222
- Five shelters will be open 24/7 during the weather event. Shelter locations are listed at the City of Tulsa Storm Response Center link below.

Remember: Obama and Biden sat in that August 3, 2016 Situation Room briefing and said, yeah, let's let the highest officials in our administration fabricate evidence to frame the opposing party candidate Donald Trump.

We are shooting live but Based on the #OPNation technical issues I’m told the show will air from the beginning. Believe me we are frustrated. Sorry! @OfficialOPLive
