While the cost of Halloween candy has surged more than 13.1% since last September, the Mars candy bar family became 44% richer during the pandemic increasing their wealth by $32.6 billion. The Mars family is now worth $106.8 billion.
Do you know what’s scary? Corporate greed.
Reason why I don’t reply:
❌ I’m ignoring you
❌ I don’t want to speak to you
❌ I don’t care about you
✅ I looked at your message but I got distracted and now it’s been a week or two and I assume you hate me for not replying and it’s giving me anxiety
if gay m&ms or whatever is happening (sorry didn’t pay attention) is upsetting to you, you don’t have what it takes to continue living. it’s yet another corporate gesture for pr that made you froth in the mouth.
I hate @Heineken 's decision to wait until they could push their products until they publicly condemned not drinking and driving. instead of insidiously trying to make a profit they should be pushing for a true alternative to drinking which is sobriety.
3. That cannot happen if we allow leaders waving the flag of socialism to go unchecked. These people are not exempt from criticism. That being said I wish the best for all countries that are attempting to achieve socialism!
People are acting like when Boric and Castro won their elections this year that socialism won as well… no dummy. SOCIALISM hasn’t won shit. Just because these people who claim to be socialists have gained power doesn’t mean they won’t fuck it up.
2. This doesn’t mean I don’t wish the best for Peru, Honduras, and Chile but we have to hold these people to the same standard that we would any other leader. Socialism is not established overnight. It is a constant work in striving for a socialist society.
3. You don’t have to pay a robot. Once it is assembled there is no human labor necessary for production outside of maintenance which now has been given an excuse to be paid very little.
1. Capitalism is designed to pay labor as much as it is to keep them alive. The primary goal of capitalism is to maximize profits to the shareholders. That’s it… Capitalism is not designed to provide for its workers.
2. The long believed theory that the invisible hand of the market allocates resources where necessary is a theory that has been proven to be false. This is also why there has been such a push for autonomous labor.
This is a grown woman lying to a bunch of donors about a story that never happened just to use their Islamophobia against them in an effort to bilk them for money at the expense of a co-worker's safety... and they fall for it hook, line, and sinker. America has jumped the shark.
3. I’m assuming the answer is because you’ve done A LOT for their family while also claiming to defend the working class. You are a disgusting elitist hawk who deserves every last word of criticism until you’re 6 feet in the dirt… you are tone deaf but singing loudly…
@SpeakerPelosi buddies with oil tycoons huh? Lady, if you claim that the Democratic Party is the party of the working class then start FUCKING ACTING LIKE IT! Do you not realize how scummy it is to claim that your defending the working class when you’re friends with billionaires?
2. It’s okay to be friends with rich people, hell it’s financially smart. But YOU are the face of the Democratic Party and you are busy literally marrying the heirs of oil tycoons. Tell me Nancy, why would they feel so close as to allow you to marry their family?
3/3: Stop the propaganda of homeless people "harassing" individuals when you don't state what harassment is. In many cities it is considered "harassment" for someone to simply lay on a bench. Have an ounce of empathy you coward, or at least stop pretending like you do...
@MiroBTV proposed funding of infrastructure and other amenities is a great idea but people are understandably worried about how this will affect their taxes. Make this exclusively a progressive tax rate, it's only fair those who benefit from BTV economics the most pay as such.
2/3: Also stop terrorizing the homeless community. We know that you are looking for an excuse to use police force to "address" the homeless people who consider Bur. to be their home. Moving people doesn't make them go away.
