@geoff_rowe Is that through the site? Might be an ad-avail type mechanism, where the adverts are inserted over the live content which is still playing in the background.
@BrentLeeSDCIC The 'voice of the people' is currently using its pet 'edgy' AI to throw random posts into some sort of hellscape blender and spit them out as facts. Which will then feed more posts. And so it goes.
Additional context for discussions about why young people have such an affinity for gaming. Good to see a little reality entering the debate.

I know a few creatives who are tired of subscription models for apps, especially ones they use in great depth but only a few times a year. Affinity seems to be the favourite of people looking for Adobe alternatives who want to own the software outright. https://t.co/ushfmdsGzG
@geoff_rowe In principle, pay all creatives every time... but I suppose it might be a reasonable way to offset costs for someone who already has other shows booked in the evenings. Accommodation prices during the fringe must hammer the chance of making anything from smaller shows.
Your daily reminder that everyday items with 'smart' functionality added (often for no reason that makes any sense) will eventually become useless when app support stops.
@MScCyberpsych@_brthomas Hugely important, especially in light of the Sweet Baby focused re-emergence of Gamergate. I've seem so much positivity & progress in representation from indie studios over the past few years; it's important to hold up all those experiences as a powerful counter-narrative.
Amazon tries a new way to sell games, and unintentionally creates a demonstration of why the Metaverse (as many imagine it) will be a waste of time. Navigate around all this and squint at the boxes, or just read a simple list on a flat screen? https://t.co/SQXbLupchi
We know coach drivers can look at our car park from the road and worry that they won't be able to turn around and get out safely, but excellent, cooperative driving by Robinson's Coach Travel, @orbitcoachesltd and Confidence Bus Company shows there's nothing to worry about :)
@BrentLeeSDCIC I referenced this in an icebreaker type quiz for a recent session about misinformation. It's an absolute gift in terms of 'things that sound ludicrous, but actually have some grit' and it sits nicely alongside complete fabrications :)
Your daily reminder that generative AI has no ability to reason and has no idea what it just said. You're getting a remix of existing stuff based on guesswork.
