Congratulations to our patron, Kevin Sinfield, on his well‑deserved knighthood.
Kev has been a tireless advocate for the MND community since the diagnosis of his friend, Rob Burrow CBE, in 2019 — raising £11 million for MND charities and vital awareness.
Thank you, Sir Kev 🧡
365 days on…
I learnt a lot from my first marathon. Training tested me mentally and physically, and race day brought every emotion possible. But most of all, to never give up, no matter how hard it gets.
All for @mndassoc and Uncle Stewart 🧡💙

Last year we commemorated VE Day 80, marking 80 years since the end of the Second World War in Europe.
VE Day is more than just a historical anniversary; it is a day of reflection on the enduring human values of liberty, resilience, and sacrifice.
Honouring VE Day ensures that the bravery and hardships experienced during World War II are not forgotten – together, we affirm our collective responsibility to remember the past and to work towards a better and more peaceful future for all.

Opening the Rob Burrow Centre for Motor Neurone Disease in Leeds.
Named after the late Rob Burrow CBE, the centre is the first purpose-built facility dedicated entirely to MND care, research, education and holistic support in the UK, and stands as a trailblazer for others around the country.
It was a pleasure to meet professionals as well as Rob's family, highlighting the incredible dedication and generosity that brought this vision to life.
A huge thank you to HRH Prince William for keeping his promise to Rob to come back to Leeds and officially open the Rob Burrow Centre for MND, such a lovely occasion for the Burrow family to share with @KensingtonRoyal

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
