Funeral of Khwaja Zafar Ahmad Sahib

Khwaja Zafar Ahmad Sahib, former Amir of Sialkot, passed away at the age of 91. He was a Moosi and had a deep connection with Khilafat, showing great love and loyalty, which he instilled in his progeny. He served the Jamaat throughout his life in many capacities and roles. He was known for his hospitality and never spoke ill of anyone holding a position within the Jamaat. Whenever he faced trials in life, he turned to God Almighty. His daughters have written that God accepted his prayers. He was a patient and loving person who supported his family through many difficulties. He travelled extensively for Jamaat work and was known as an extremely humble and affectionate individual.

A Deep Anguish for God’s Honour

The Promised Messiah (as) wrote that God had spoken truly in the Holy Qur’an about the gravity of associating partners with Him, and that his own anguish was such that his greatest desire was to witness mankind freed from this polytheism and to see the glory of God manifest. The Promised Messiah (as) wrote that his soul constantly prayed that if he was truly from God, then he might witness the day when the false attribution of divinity to the Messiah (as) would be removed.

Restoring True Tauheed

The Promised Messiah (as) wrote that he had been sent to re-establish Tauheed upon the earth, to free people from the worship of humans and stones, to turn them towards the One God without partner, and to guide them towards inner purity and righteousness. A movement had begun, with thousands repenting at his hands, and that a heavenly wind was drawing hearts towards Tauheed, making it evident that God intended to eradicate the worship of human beings and had set many means in motion to fulfil this.
