KENYANS, PLEASE HELP US FIND BRIAN MUGAMBI MURETHI.

I have sat for over an hour thinking about Brian Mugambi Murethi and what his family has been going through since Tuesday, 28th July 2026.

Brian is only 29 years old. He is a husband, a father to a beautiful two-year-old daughter, and the proprietor of Meru Sports House, a branding company.

On that fateful day, Brian was in Nairobi to receive his cargo.

He later proceeded along Thika Road and, according to the family, his last known interaction was with Eric Kabi, whom he had dropped at KU, around the China Square KU area.

Since then, Brian has disappeared. His phone is switched off.

His car, KDL 586R, has not been found. His family has been searching, praying, calling and hoping for a miracle.

Behind every missing person is a family slowly breaking.

His mother, Agnes Kiene Murethi, is living through every parent's nightmare.

His father, Japheth Murithi, is desperately waiting for his firstborn son to come home. His wife is waiting. His two-year-old daughter is waiting.

And somewhere, someone knows something.

To whoever may have Brian, please listen to the cry of a mother and the innocence of a two-year-old child.

If this is about money, debt, a business dispute or anything else, there are ways to resolve such matters without destroying a family.

Take the car.
Take the money.
Take whatever property you think you are owed but please, spare Brian.

Let him come home alive.

And to Kenyans: this cannot be another missing-person story that disappears from our timelines after 24 hours.

If you saw KDL 586R along Thika Road or anywhere in Nairobi on or after 28th July, speak up.

If you saw Brian, speak up.

If you know something however small tell the family or the authorities.

Do not wait for someone else to speak.

Let us become Brian's voice while his family searches for him.

Share this widely. Put pressure on the authorities to investigate every lead. Help this family find answers.

Brian must come home. Alive.

😭💔 My heart is shattered into a million pieces as I share this devastating story. Yesterday evening at 6:00pm, a precious little baby girl, just 9 years old, was walking home from school in Bagamoyo, Nairutia. She was so close to safety, just steps away from her front door, when a monster grabbed her violently and dragged her into the dark forest.
He defiled her in the most brutal way imaginable. Then, with no mercy in his soul, he hit her on the head with a stone, strangled her, and left her there to die alone among the trees. He thought she was gone. This innocent child endured unimaginable pain, shock, and terror... her tiny body collapsed from the horror of it all.
But our brave little warrior fought to survive. God was watching over her. She was found and rushed to the hospital where she is now receiving emergency treatment. The strength of this 9-year-old girl in the face of such evil is beyond words, yet my soul cries thinking of the trauma she will carry. No child should ever know such suffering.
The man responsible is still out there. He is not known in the community, but after committing this unspeakable act, he had the audacity to walk into a nearby home in the same forest area and borrow a glass of water. CCTV cameras in that compound captured him clearly. The brave girl positively identified him from the image.
If you know this man, if you recognize his face, if you have any information about his whereabouts — please, I beg you, inbox me or report immediately to the nearest police station. He is dangerous. His intentions at that home were likely evil too. He must be caught before he hurts another innocent soul.

The pain in our community is heavy today. Let us stand together for this beautiful, brave little girl. Let us demand justice that matches the depth of this cruelty. Pray for her healing, for her family’s strength, and for swift action against this devil walking among us.
