@SIFpod just listened to the pickle juice episode #MaxFunDrive. Another use of pickle juice is adding it to your broth for soup! I think it's more common in Eastern European cuisine.
@DelveIntoTheDex, just listened to the crab rodeo episode. The comment on the number of "crabs" seems representative of carcinification, which is one of my favorite natural phenomena. If it makes you feel better, or worse, Crabrawler is not actually a crab. But, Crabominable is.
@SBaGPodcast, I just listened to your episode on spontaneous combustion. There's an anime movie called Promare that I recommend. Basic premise is a world where firefighters are a type of military force to fight people that manipulate and expel fire.
@DelveIntoTheDex, hi! I'm Dylan and a nobody. I'm a fan mostly enjoying the dynamic of the three of you obviously being good friends. I doubt you take basic listeners as guests, but I'm an RVT and would love to talk animal Pokémon with parasitic plants (i.e. Bulbasaur and Paras).
@tripleclickpod I'm right now listening to the Story Mario Brothers Movie Beanscast. It makes me want to watch it again because I haven't since childhood. But, I would like to recommend an even weirder movie: The Star Wars Holiday Special. Maybe another Beanscast?
@DelveIntoTheDex I present to you a carnivorous bee. As the name implies, it's not really a predator, but it still consumes flesh. I'm sure Beedrill doesn't mind making corpses. Also... meat honey... 😨
@FilmReroll Another secret of the ooze is that it's noncanonically the same chemical that changes young Matt Murdock. In the original comic, the scene of the ooze getting into the sewers starts with a young boy saving an old woman from the truck of ooze and gets it in his eyes.
@FedExHelp I've already had a pick up service scheduled for first thing in the morning. Unless you can guarantee somebody will come and the package will ship tonight, then it's already too late.
@FedEx Just had an awful experience. I work at a veterinary hospital and we needed to have a deceased chicken's remains shipped out to the lab TONIGHT. Waiting until tomorrow could mean the tissues won't be as diagnostic and a waste of the client's money.
@FedEx 's online portal SUCKS. If you're scheduling a pickup, you need to actually call and talk to a person. I know corporations don't care, but you'd think they'd offer a service that actually works.
The next person I spoke to actually told me he couldn't find our scheduled pick up and that it was too late. Even if we took the package to a drop off location, the chicken would just sit out overnight. Now, we have to wait until tomorrow and hope for the best!
Having listened to the backlogs, I don't remember where the change happened. But, the early episodes had good volume. Especially when James and Nnekay are chatting, they get very loud, and I can appreciate that. Thank you for all the work you do; I love this podcast!
@MinorityKorner
Hi, I just wanted to mention that 90% of the audio on the most recent episode is missing. I also wanted to mention an issue I've experienced that I don't know if it's the same for others. The audio on this podcast is always very quiet.
I don't know much about audio production, so I don't know if this is something you can fix on that end. It's true that my hearing is not good in the first place, but this is the only podcast I listen to where on max volume I still can't hear 50% of what's said.
@coolceruleanblu@MinorityKorner Yeah, I also had the same issue. After the intro it goes dead. There is an ad break around the 17-minute mark that plays fine, and then the final part at 9-min remaining plays fine.
