Eurasian Stone-curlew is a rare visitor to our home county of #Worcestershire.
So when one turned up near Upton upon Severn, it generated plenty of interest amongst local #birders.

Friday 2/10 at @RSPBFrampton with @karenheath62, lots of decent birds seen, Buff-Breasted Sandpiper, Little Stint, Curlew Sandpipers and finally a nice male Merlin this year, although very distant with far too much heat haze.

The long-staying North American Buff-breasted Sandpiper at Eshaness. One of at least seven individuals to have made landfall here in Shetland so far this autumn.
