JUSTICE AND DUE PROCESS MUST PREVAIL.

Today, our party leader appeared at Kahawa Law Courts to represent Owuor Williams, alias Jahome Ochola, who had been charged with ethnic incitement.

Owuor had spent seven days in custody following his arrest on 29th October 2026.

The prosecution subsequently withdrew the miscellaneous application after failing to present sufficient evidence to sustain the charges, paving the way for his release.

The Mwananchi Party (TMP) calls upon the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) to respect the rule of law, uphold the constitutional rights of Kenyans and desist from unjustified detention.

We demand an apology to our client for the violation of his rights and the seven days he spent in custody.

Justice must never be sacrificed at the altar of intimidation.

Tomorrow, we will conduct a Criminal Litigation revision session with students from the Kenya School of Law.

With 65% of students failing the last exam, we have taken the initiative to revise with them to help them pass their exams.

Our goal is to ensure that more students are adequately prepared to excel in their examinations.
