@martinplaut USA,France, Russian, China.....all have military presence on Red Sea. Why both Egypt and Eritrea start talk about the so-called Littoral state only when Ethiopia want to have Military Presence on Red Sea.
My Sincere gratitude for #MedEdAfrica2026 Conference Organizers and MoH ofEthiopian, for Organizing Successful COMS-Africa Annual Conference at Addis Ababa Ethiopian.

@TiborPNagyJr Ethiopia needs Red Sea Water. While Egypt needs Nile Water!! The issue of both Countries regarding their Water need should be addressed together to separately. Understanding this could help USA to bring both countries together.
@_hudsonc@Boeing@flyethiopian Stop Propaganda against @flyethiopian & @Boeing !!

Addis Ababa’s Riverside Development is far more than a riverbank beautification project. From the Entoto to Peacock corridor to the Entoto–Kebena stretch, this is a large-scale urban transformation that extends up to 50 meters beyond the rivers, creating green corridors, public gathering spaces, walkable areas, recreation zones, and commercial spaces that are reshaping the city itself.
What makes the project especially significant is its broader economic and social impact. Beyond improving the appearance and function of the riversides, it has created jobs for many people across construction, engineering, landscaping, logistics, and related sectors, while also generating opportunities for local contractors, suppliers, and businesses. The fact that so much of the work is being designed and delivered locally highlights the growing capacity of Ethiopian expertise in urban development and infrastructure.
The sustainability aspect is equally important. Once dumping grounds for toxic waste and flood hazards affecting communities along the riverbanks, these areas are now being transformed into greener, healthier, and more liveable urban spaces. At the same time, the integration of commercial and public spaces demonstrates how environmental restoration and economic growth can work together rather than compete with one another.
This is a long-term investment in the future of Addis Ababa as a greener, more connected, economically vibrant, and people-centered city.
The Houthis & Al-Shabab are not isolated actors—they are sustained by Iran & the Eritrean dictator. The dictator's backing of Al-Shabab dates back to the mid-2000s. This cross-Red Sea Islamist network spanning Yemen, Somalia, Sudan & beyond is a single regional security threat, not separate conflicts. https://t.co/o3ZRr0Uffr
@POTUS45@PMEthiopia
Good to see current US Admin finally recognize Ethiopia's geostrategic importance. US shouldn't choose between Egypt or Ethiopia, as both can be valued partners. If Ethiopia settles domestic problems its value grows exponentially!

This is not Dubai.
This is Ethiopia, whose GDP is 24 times smaller than India’s.
However, its cooperation with China has made its infrastructure 24 times better than that of India and even some higher-income countries.
