If you are a coach in Pakistan & you genuinely want to improve football in the country it’s at the bottom of the pyramid. Start the change there Cz you can’t find something at the top that you haven’t worked at the grassroots or youth levels. Period ⏳📈

@izeeshaan3 Some questionable defending on this goal. Down to 10 men & in a 4-4-1 shape, but with no pressure on the ball and a high line, it’s a ticking bomb. Body shape awareness is also questionable, leaving space behind the backline always creates problems.

@izeeshaan3 Totally feel for these kids, there’s no doubt some of them have real potential. At the same time, I believe the coach should always have the right to select the players he feels fit his plan and vision. Selection is never easy, but it’s part of the coach’s responsibility.

We recently had the privilege of taking our academy players to Borussia Dortmund for a 12day training camp. Had the opportunity to observe training methods, explore their top-notch facilities, and immerse ourselves in the culture and values that contribute to the club's success.

BVB’s training facility features 8 top-quality pitches, including natural grass and artificial turf, designed for both senior and youth teams. The state-of-the-art hostels provide a supportive environment for young talents, making it a complete hub for football development.

Can we get some more clarity on this, how are the players shortlisted for the trials ? Where exactly are the local scouts scouting ? & why haven’t we been contacted for our players by the “scouts” ?

As a coach it’s our otmost priority to educate the players & parents in some cases to know that eduaction should be the first priority for any kid out there,regardless of how talented the player is.

It’s becomes a recent trend of “I can’t focus enough at football so I want to give up studying”. The consequences of this mindset are alarming 🚨. We live in a country with no football ecosystem, risking a kid to take that path can be detrimental.

Expecting the senior team to deliver results without investing in youth team is beyond my understanding . Where will the talent and skills come from if the youth teams are neglected?

Pakistan NOT taking part in both #AFCU20 qualifiers in September and #AFCU17 qualifiers in October.

Both events will be held a month after their respective SAFF age group events in which Pakistan is taking part.
