Thanks to @JLeiper for identifying some of the hard choices we need to make on #planning when it comes to #climateaction.
The #climate logic is clear: building compact, walkable 15-minute neighbourhoods (*not* more R1 zoning) is a #sprawl solution.
Let's get it done!
With today's debate over the new Official Plan, we're pleased to have joined with local groups such as @greenspaceott @JustFood_Ottawa @WalkableO@OttawaAlliance@CAWI_IVTF to propose a number of improvements to the document, covering a range of environmental and social issues.
