Chef Godwin Uganda was in Bamutakudde Village today, sharing his knowledge and culinary skills with the women as part of an initiative to empower them to start a professional catering service.

From learning how to prepare delicious meals to gaining practical skills they can turn into a source of income, it was a day of learning, sharing and empowerment, thanks to Chairman @SolomonSerwanjj

Here’s how it all happened.

Every Saturday 6am - 10am, Bamutakudde shows up for community. From cleaning to community talk, the turn up and energy keeps growing. Neighbors becoming family. Problems becoming solutions.
When we work together, we win together. #CleanerBamutakudde #SaferCommunities

UPDATE FROM BAMUTAKUDDE.

The Chairman's Children's Party was a success! 🎉

Over 200 children from Bamutakudde & neighbouring villages came together as they prepare to go back to school tomorrow.

We cooked together, ate together, danced, played football, swam & enjoyed theatrical plays by the children.

I organize this every holiday so every child feels they belong to this village. Their smiles say it all.

Wishing all our children a great 3rd term!
