Fail fast
The cost of software defects increases exponentially the longer they are allowed to exist.
The faster you can bring your code failures to light, the faster you can fix them

Started working with Laravel again. I haven't really used it much since v6. I forgot how much I loved this framework.

Expect some Laravel 9 content coming down the pipeline.

What is a synergy effect?
It refers to the interaction between two or more "things" when the combined effect is greater than if you added the "things" on their own (a type of "when is one plus one is greater than two" effect). #machinelearning #statisticallearning #datascience

One model may work very well on one dataset, but may perform badly on another. The challenge in statistical machine learning is to pick the "best" model for the problem at hand with the data available

[Akin-Odanye Olawale @Walz_da_Prinz]

Note that there is never a "best" model across the entirety of statistics and machine learning. Different models have varying strengths and weaknesses. #machinelearning #statisticallearning #datascience

One important concept to remember when selecting statistical models is the bias-variance tradeoff. Knowledge of this can reduce occurrences of overfitting or underfitting the true function #machinelearning #statisticallearning #datascience

There is no free lunch in statistics: no one method dominates all others over all possible data sets #machinelearning #statisticallearning #datascience

I've made the decision to stop using CSS, and I hope you do too. Too many people abuse it, and users suffer from a bad UI/UX. Without CSS, HTML alone gives us a consistent standard. #endcss
