Had my Reddit debut this weekend!! 💀😅
Luckily it wasn’t under incredibly embarrassing circumstances. Got to teach the r/weightlifting subreddit a bit about #biomechanics and had to plug what we were doing at Marquette with USAW!
We packed up cameras and force plates and drove to Pittsburgh for @USWeightlifting Nationals. Emma and @WandaSihanath even put together a poster & QR code with cool #weightlifting#biomechanics stuff. Anyone in Pittsburgh who wants to talk shop let me know, I'll buy coffee!
Slowly but surely churning our way through all the throws data from the @WorldAthletics Invitational meet in Ramona, OK. Looking forward to digging into some javelin #biomechanics next. Thanks for your patience @karathrowsjav, and understanding that the discus WR came first😅

Can't go to an international throws competition without doing some CMJ #biomechanics testing. We worked with @DaneChamps to collect force-time data (via @novel_USA) on the current world leader in the women's discus throw Yaime Perez. Data from actual throws are "on deck" ...
The @MarquetteU Biomechanics Lab was in Ramona, OK this weekend to record video at the World Athletics Invitational. It was an amazing experience with several world, area, and national records being broken. Thanks to all who helped - now off to the lab and geek out😀
