My boy has been looking for a new job for the past year and cant even get an interview. He's stuck where he is. Meanwhile the younger ladies in the family can change jobs at will.
Something weird is going on for sure.

Was talking to my friends about this, this is exactly my take, this is a gujju thing, I'm quite sure the woman thing was not even mentioned in the initial discussions, classic gujju re-trading agreements and relying on others politeness to push a sub-par deal through
Sharp Edge: Don’t look at the behaviour of the Swaminarayan guys at the Eiffel Tower in isolation. It’s part of a pattern of Gujarati
entitlement. Because Gujaratis virtually run India these days we have got accustomed to doing what we like from dancing the garba on the tarmac to closing down roads for our ostentatious weddings to believing that everything is available for a price.

This sounds so conspiracy brained but I genuinely think the recent rise in anti Indian/South Asian sentiment online is partially because corporations want us not to view them as people so when they’re the first ones to suffer catastrophic loss due to climate change no one cares
I would even argue that only 1 and 3 matter, the supply of goods creates its own demand, nominal variables like the money supply dont effect real variables like worker output and long run economic growth
Because the growth rate of the economy roughly scales with that of
- the physical capacity to harness energy in order to convert raw materials into finished products
- consumer demand (marginal propensity to consume)
- investment (marginal propensity to save)
- money supply
Whenever growth stalls, at least one out of these four things is the bottleneck. In this particular case, it's likely all of them combined. Having more inference or compute than before doesn't magically produce growth in itself.

Ppl should shed a tear when they see stuff like this. U dont know the sacrifices and the effort and the SKILL it takes to build something like that elevated corridor, that is a piece of art, bin the mockery show some admiration and respect
Honestly this is beautiful, ppl dont realise how difficult an engineer feat it is to have bridges built that can take all that load, those locomotives were made in india. A good deal of those containers too. Those electrified freight corridors are beautiful

and he got very upset because "I wasn't listening to him".
I explained several times that I WAS listening to him, I not only HEARD everything he said, but I UNDERSTOOD everything he said. I was LISTENING, but I wasn't OBEYING.
He could not understand the distinction.

And one very odd and particular confusion was that he would explain his POV that it made him uncomfortable, and I would acknowledge that and then say "and yet I take my compensation for running a small firm in a basket of goods that includes my freedom to do as I will" >>>
