Made some (non satire) music to help work through feelings™️ regarding the whole 2020/21 PDX 'experience' and wasn't sure what to do with it so here seemed like a fitting place.

Leftists who keep creating environments that endanger others by refusing to mask—- why are you doing what capital is telling you? #CovidIsntOver. This is a mass disabling event. Masking is Solidarity. Meeting outside is solidarity.
A PDX comrade is facing serious felony related charges related to counter-protesting a fascist demonstration.
Please donate to this fundraiser to help get them lawyered up.

@KeenNavarro @IAm_Not_APerson @Th3SpicyTurtle It's becoming fairly common in indy creative spaces for book covers/art on the cheap/lazy. Not really sure if that will stick on account of growing backlash and it being instantly recognizable as AI. Kinda feels like the book cover equivalent of a clip-on tie.
@KeenNavarro Understood, I'm not convinced it'll replace artists so kinda eyeroll at those critiques. I do feel there's a bit of stolen labor involved with the trawling since the algo can't function without IRL art to feed it.Smarter ppl than I will have to parse that out for me to parrot tho
@KeenNavarro I think there are other critiques that are worthy of discussion. Like MJ getting rich by churning out iterations of works by living artists that were trawled off the internet. Or the space being full of insufferable former NFT bros slapping watermarks on unedited renders.
@akareilly@rechelon The discourse was prompted by him coming clean on Twitter about it in anticipation of the dox. TBH, I feel like it's pretty disingenuous to frame people responding to a person admitting to a bad thing as if they were passing around the fash dox that led to the confession.
I want people to realize this person works for Lockheed Martin and has a very good salary after being there for *fifteen years*. They begged for money for doordash. For taking cats to the vet. From the poor disabled community. 1/?
Watching as my feed predictably veers closer and closer towards the inevitable "ableism is just a buzzword" and "people with REAL disabilities" takes:
"don't do it...please...just this one fucking time"
@sadsleepygirl23@borgposting or, I guess, to use as a cudgel in the culture war up until the point they get sick of having to wear a mask to buy groceries.
@sadsleepygirl23@borgposting Honestly, the only time the left doesn't actively yet awkwardly avoid the topic altogether is when one of these little discourse flashpoints occurs and provides them the opportunity to call someone out for being ridiculous or going too far or whatever.
Andy Ngo is now targeting one of the witnesses, lying and saying he is an #Antifa member that worked with RCA. Interesting how he goes after the one that got damning video of him with the far right group while they planned the #CiderRiot attack. He had no evidence of his claims
The individual kicking this counter protester unprovoked is Michael Murdock of Salem, Oregon. He and his son Joshua participated in the assaults outside the Honkey Tonk in Salem today.
@Thrillhouse138@heyzell This is the one for me. I like their glam but wish that weird psych cosplaying as skin phase has lasted longer.

@GlaciemRex@NashRomi The nuance is pretty clear. In fact, it's actually all that the comic conveys. You're the one extrapolating it into some sort of broader 'no space for ex RWers' thing.
