@scottmcc_47@IanHickey727192@Samfasticz@EvacTony It's heavily filtered, photoshopped whatever. It doesn't show the bad teeth that she always had. She was not actually beautiful, she just looks good compared to what she looked like in middle age.
@LDTrueBlue@haskit_calum19 Yes, and it must have had a feature that picked out all the inhabitable planets in the universe.
Or maybe the Doctor kept going to planets he already knew about.
@LDTrueBlue@haskit_calum19 For a show that was originally supposed to be educational, not once did the Doctor ever orbit the TARDIS above a gas giant like Jupiter and talk about what it would REALLY be like if they tried to land it. Doctor Who was always low on actual science.
@LDTrueBlue@haskit_calum19 To be honest, in reality they'd step out of the TARDIS wearing spacesuits. That is if they landed on a planet that wasn't -200 degrees C or didn't have gravity multiple times greater than Earth's, or had a surface you could walk on (and wasn't a sea of molten liquid or gas)
@haskit_calum19@LDTrueBlue To be honest, none of the female companions' outfits made much sense. Unless they went somewhere particularly freezing and wore a big coat. Sarah-Jane once wore ridiculous Andy Pandy-like dungarees in one story.
@LDTrueBlue How can you call it "gross?"? It's like you're saying she's gross (she certainly wasn't, then or now!). Maybe it's a bit much, but so what. She wasn't a teenager.
@Lord_Sprocket@YesterdaysBrit1 Oh yeah, she really transformed herself. I remember the plain Carol of old (not this far back though) Unfortunately she did it a bit too late in life.
@Dene71@ShempMeister Given the direction Doctor Who has gone in and with Russell T. Davies running it, wouldn't this still be the case with kids at "high school" (or secondary school as it used to always be called in the UK?
@DaveFreedom4 I hope that's just the lens making his face look weird and elongated. And his voice sounds so hoarse. I would have just deleted that video if I was him, it's very unflattering.
@JaroslavH@NathanJRobinson Sometimes I watch old episodes of The Bill and PCs in the 80s and 90s used to wear white shirts with black epaulettes and it looked alright. Now this is less a part of the everyday uniform and they wear all-black and lycra-ish tops under stab vests and tons of other stuff.
