Even the nicest people have their limits. Don’t push them too far; don’t try to reach those limits. Once the boundary is crossed, they’ll never be the same person you used to know. If you can’t be kind, remain quiet. Don’t hurt people.
Ibn al-Qayyim:
“If you want to see the extent of your Īmān then see how you are in private
For indeed Īmān does not show its true extent in two units of prayer or in fasting during the day.
But it shows in striving against your soul & desires.”
[Madārij As-Sālikīn | 164/82]
The Prophet ﷺ was asked about fasting the day of Arafa and said “it is an expiation of the sins of the previous and upcoming years.”
Fast 1 day to have 2 years of sins forgiven.
Also try to Sunnah fast the day before as it is the last Monday of the best 10 days of the year.
In a fast-paced world, it's easy to forget the power of acknowledging and appreciating the people in our lives.
Let's pause, reflect, and shower our loved ones with gratitude today and every day. They deserve to know their worth. #SpreadGratitude#KindnessRevolution
