Such a joy to be back looking at this window when conducting @WarehamChoral! I was off last term thanks to shingles so even greater pleasure. What's on the menu? Britten "ceremony of carols" SATB version - haven't lost the tenors & basses although more always welcome!
Our MD (having been ill) was in the audience for our D-Day Remembrance concert on Saturday night. She sneaked this photo during the national anthem! A very moving concert with so many local people taking part. Thank you all for coming too - a full house!
This saturday! I'm so disappointed not to be conducting @WarehamChoral (due to shingles slow recovery). A real community event, varied & eclectic programme. @JWHallBaritone's "for the fallen", Dambusters, Vera Lynn songs, Armed man, Nimrod,..
@gracelovelass
Fabulous performance of "The Crucifixion" composed by Stainer on Saturday. @WarehamChoral, soloists, & organist really got "behind the words" of this music & although an exhausting time for me, absolutely appropriate to sing this the day before Palm Sunday. Thank you all!
Last night's "Celebration of Christmas" by @WarehamChoral was great fun and informal. Christmas jumpers were the order of the day! Such a fascinating church too - St John the Baptist, Bere Regis.
