Year 9 pupils studying the “media” topic in French lessons broadened their horizons this week with a visit to the school library to read some French books and magazines. Next step: giving their opinion - in French - on what they have read! Et toi, tu as lu Tintin et tu l’as aimé?
Pupils from Years 5, 6 and 7 threw themselves into full audience participation while enjoying the French play “Parlez-vous français?” by visiting theatre company Onatti on Tuesday, and have been practising the French they learnt ever since!
What a great weekend for Year 9 Bronze DofE Qualifying Expedition. Well done everyone! There might be some sore feet but a lot of great memories too. #CommunityofOpportunity

It’s Fallas week in Valencia.
Do you know what a mascletá looks like? It just bangs, smells of gunpowder and, above all, it’s really noisy.
