@DBallinger901 My grandmother grew up in St. Louis during the Depression. She always described black people as thrifty, caring, and spiritual. She was an early supporter of civil rights. I wish those black folks from the 1920βs and 30βs could come back and help you.
@Young_Anglican People come to Christ many ways. When I converted to Christianity, as a teen, I had not performed a thorough examination of all of the evidence compared with other religions. I knew that my sins had separated me from God and that Christ died to reconcile me to Him.
@AnglicInn@BasedMikeLee βNow this is the catholic faith: That we worship one God in trinity and the trinity in unity, neither blending their persons nor dividing their essence.β Athanasian Creed
@MalcangiSarah As Christ is the fulfillment of the old sacrifices, the Church is the fulfillment of Israel. There is no more Israel except as a marketing ploy for gullible Christians to drain their money to fund the wickedness of those who say theyβre Jews, but are Satanβs synagogue.
@RevJaredJones@Young_Anglican Criticizing ecclesiastical fashion less spiritual because of how much more or less photogenic it makes the clergy is on-point for Pride month. π
@Rothmus My Powell ancestors were among those of the Choctaw Nation who did so. They owned five slaves who, according to family lore, also marched to war for the Confederacy. Our ancestors were more complicated than we give them credit for being.
@monkieboy99 There was never any DEI funding, so it is the free market at work. The market only rewards what works. The scams only work against straight men, so only bots that appeal to them are in proliferation. Stay gay, keep your money.
