On this day 3 years ago we met for the first time newly appointed Patient Safety Commissioner Dr Henrietta Hughes.

The work she was tasked with : options for a Compensation scheme for #Valproate disabled children has been completed ✅

Yet we still continue to wait @DHSCgovuk

Ministers are facing calls to not cut individualised care plans for children and young people with special educational needs.

Campaigners say education, health and care plans (EHCPs) are "precious legal protections", and they warn thousands of children could lose access to education if the plans are abolished.

Education Secretary Bridget Phillipson described it as a "complex and sensitive area", when asked if she could rule out scrapping EHCPs.
