Scandals like Valproate, causing avoidable harm, could have been halted and dealt with so long ago, instead Govt covered up the truth harming thousands of innocent children. Time has come to apologise and compensate them following the Hughes Report. @mimsdavies@Emma4facs
@LouiseWhitemesh@PippaCrerar Sodium Valproate Birth Defect Scandal… ongoing for 52 years!!!!! And it still continues to this day!!
Government should never be forgiven for PURPOSELY disabling babies and hiding the risk to women @JanetWilliams99

@RicHolden I would be frightened to admit i put this lot in Goverment, enjoy your time at No10 Keir, you wont be winning again.Hated by working familes, businesses and uk farming and even by their own voters, their literally like a one man wrecking crew.
As has been clear since the first mistaken release was exposed, @UKLabour is putting public safety at the bottom of the priority list.
262 prisoners released in error in a year.
Dangerous offenders walking free.
A Justice Secretary who went suit shopping instead of taking responsibility.
Only @Conservatives will put victims, the public, and security above Labour’s chaos.
Its a absolute joke Emma, who's heading their performance reviews. This is exactly my point made with my local M.P. @RicHolden and he received the usual tombola style reply from DHSC.Hopefully the wonderful @PSCommissioner will have more joy come November with a detailed report
Its another dispicable move by Goverment, first knowingly harming innocent children without a care in the world, then making the children and families wait for redress and now trying to enforce a media https://t.co/p0E80BLSFo appalled Goverment, truly appalled.Shame on you all
The "original crime" was made by a #Labour govt 50yrs ago giving instruction for Drs not to tell the Patient that Valproate was teratogenic (harmful to fetus), Now they ignore us ⬇️ @Emma4facs@wesstreeting
On this day 3 years ago we met for the first time newly appointed Patient Safety Commissioner Dr Henrietta Hughes.
The work she was tasked with : options for a Compensation scheme for #Valproate disabled children has been completed ✅
Yet we still continue to wait @DHSCgovuk
Ministers are facing calls to not cut individualised care plans for children and young people with special educational needs.
Campaigners say education, health and care plans (EHCPs) are "precious legal protections", and they warn thousands of children could lose access to education if the plans are abolished.
Education Secretary Bridget Phillipson described it as a "complex and sensitive area", when asked if she could rule out scrapping EHCPs.
Nicky Campbell asks: are ECHPs fit for purpose?
The cruelty of the present and previous Goverment is astonishing,to intentionally harm patients babies with a medication prescribed and deemed safe to take and to be found out that this was untrue, shame on every M.P. and P.M. who's shelved the recommendations for redress.
