@GautreauDG@JoshyyCAN@simmonssteve One season. One. And what difference does having a 90 point forward make? Don't recall the Canes having one of those this year.
@waqaskhan18@NHLTradeAlert@FriedgeHNIC He was a great coach, but is he a great coach now? My guess is no. Part of his problem in Toronto was his arrogance and refusal to adapt. Has he learned from that?
@Oilerfan9911@ElinorZ@EricMacramalla They played a heavily injured version of of the President's trophy winners. They're nowhere near the same team without Makar and an injured Mackinnon makes that even worse.
@Oilerfan9911@ElinorZ@EricMacramalla Not like the finals where he ultimately became Mitch Marner again. Once he came up against a team that played a harder game he was done. No doubt he put up some impressive numbers against some soft competition, but in the end he lived up to his reputation when it mattered most.
@Oilerfan9911@ElinorZ@EricMacramalla Except that he didn't. He did absolutely nothing in the last three games. The main narrative is that he can't perform when it matters and in the end that was the case again.
@Oilerfan9911@ElinorZ@EricMacramalla And they lost because he and others stopped contributing. You can "what if" all you want but the team fizzled out and the better team won.
