Among the secrets of the Noble Prophet’s ﷺ Masjid is a silver plate on the Golden Chamber in Madīnah al-Munawwarah. It is situated on the door of Sayyidah ʿĀʾishah al-Ṣiddīqah, also known as the Gate of Repentance (Bāb al-Tawbah). It was gifted by the 14th Ottoman ruler Sulṭān Aḥmad, the First, in the 11th Hijrī century, 1026H / 1617CE, and it starts with an inscription of the Glorious Qurʾānic verses:

In the name of Allāh, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

“O Prophet, inform My servants that I am the Most Forgiving, the Most Merciful.”

[Sūrah al-Ḥijr: verse 49]

“O Prophet, indeed We have sent you as an observing witness, a bringer of good tidings, a warner, and one who invites to Allāh, by His permission, and an illuminating lamp. And give good tidings to the believers that they will have from Allāh great bounty.”

[Sūrah al-Aḥzāb: verses 45–47)

“O Allāh, the Most Merciful, by the virtue of this noble Prophet, forgive Your servant who submits to the rulings of the great Sharīʿah of your Prophet, Sulṭān Aḥmad, son of Sulṭān Muḥammad, son of Sulṭān Murād, son of Sulṭān Selīm, son of Sulṭān Sulaymān, son of Sulṭān Selīm, son of Sulṭān Bāyazīd, son of Sulṭān Muḥammad, son of Sulṭān Murād, son of Sulṭān Bāyazīd, son of Sulṭān Murād, son of Sulṭān Orkhān, son of Sulṭān ʿUthmān. Grant him victory and clear triumph.”

Likewise, it is written on the sides of the tablet: “Lā ilāha illā Llāh, the True King, the Manifest, Muḥammad is the Messenger of Allāh, the Truthful, the Trustworthy.”
