A simple routine before every trade:
• Check setup
• Calculate risk
• Place stop
• Place target
• Execute
• Don’t interfere unless rules say so
• Journal the result
That’s how you stay in control.
How do you deal with Fear and greed? They never fully disappear in trading. You'd think that if only you can remove them, you'd become profitable.
The goal isn’t to remove them — it’s to stop them from controlling your decisions.
A thread
Fear comes from wanting certainty.
Greed comes from wanting too much too fast.
Discipline comes from accepting uncertainty and controlling risk.
The best cure for fear and greed is not motivation.
It’s structure.
@Hirengabani23 This is what many traders, including myself, have always struggled at. They are never able to sit tight in cash. They inevitably end up burning our capital in choppy markets. That "trade ka keeda" is often the reason for their downfall.
@MaiHoonSaurabh Clearly, it seems something more than just war, with the record FII outflows. Yet, people just seem to obsessed with buying at the bottom like they would never be able to make money if they don't buy here.
