WasteNot Leicestershire is a Facebook group for members only, it is about sharing unwanted items that otherwise might end up in the bin and then onto landfill.
@auntiesooze @lexcanroar @luisaomielan I went to the #BlackLivesMatter peaceful demonstration in Leicester today, there were thousands of us,we wore masks & we were socially distanced. I have lost a lot to Covid, but my ancestors were enslaved & they didn’t have their lives as they became property of plantation owners
I wrote this for everyone who has lost a loved one, everyone who fears human beings have been reduced to statistics. They have not. We care so deeply, try so hard. And it's all for you. Patients, individuals, precious human lives. You are what counts 💙

@CharnwoodPolice People have been parking here like this for years, it has nothing to do with people not carrying change they do not want to pay for parking. Also when it’s really busy and the car parks are full, people park like this.
@CentralLeicsNPA A friend cycled through their on Friday, on his way back from work. He said the park was packed approx 150 people, no social distancing massive groups of people all sat together in & clearly not from the same households. The rubbish is awful & 2nd wave Covid 19 here we come.
This amazing family in my group are sharing the #PositiveVibes to bring colour to their street whilst in #lockdown to show their #support for everyone affected by #COVID19 🙂🙂
Today would of been my #fundraising#jumblesale for The Leicestershire Community Cupboard, so last Saturday I set up a fundraising page on Facebook so far that has raised £522 and I had a donation via PayPal last night of £50 https://t.co/I4Z90K1j5Z
@sisabatter Wow your a lovely person with a kind & empathetic heart. Sad about the greedy people, i run a project called The Leicestershire Community Cupboard & I managed to get dairy free foods for a child with a serous dairy intolerance the other day for free. I asked on my network.
@beccieee77 This is how I often shop for my family, because then I only actually buy the stuff I need & I don’t get tempted or waste money on the stuff I really don’t need. #livingonatightbudget#oneparentfamily
@SharewearNotts @Abi_J_Rhodes Good morning thank you for your reply, please do get in contact happy to do work outside of Leicestershire. There are areas in my own county, that I haven’t tapped into yet and it is building the links, that takes time.
This is my next #fundraisingevent, to raise funds for The Leicestershire Community Cupboard. Currently I do have items which find it difficult to give away, because I only have storage for my stock people are unable to come to view what I have #problemSolving#UKClothingPoverty
Over 2 years ago I started The Leicestershire Community Cupboard, to support individuals and families across Leicestershire with material support #UKClothingPoverty. My project is self funded, so I create new items from waste cottons to raise funds, these are bees & soy wax wraps
