Pretend Ben Krasnow

Ever wonder what I'm up to when I'm not tuning up my killer CNC, kicking face at biofuel racing, or grooming my epic moustache? Welcome to my kooky side.

Rained during eclipse. Took 1/2 the bulbs out of chandelier.

@AskeBay @JeffBezos BTW, sales are up 200% since using Amazon's marketplace.

[Pretend Ben Krasnow @WatchMeMakeStuf]

@AskeBay I am using a different service-Amazon. If you want @JeffBezos to stop cleaning the floor with you, I suggest you listen to sellers.

[Pretend Ben Krasnow @WatchMeMakeStuf]

@AskeBay The late shipping rate I understand, the late delivery rate is between you and the post office. How can I control or influence that?

[Pretend Ben Krasnow @WatchMeMakeStuf]

Dear @Ebay, your policy of punishing top-rated sellers for packages the post office delivers late is officially absurd, moronic, and hateful

Anyone else find it disconcertingly bizarre how red Loctite thread locker looks and smells exactly like blueberry syrup?

Rebellious teenagers in Portland throw compostables out the car window.

@bekathwia Good golly your hair is pretty!

Anyone who claims to know what "live streaming" means has never had the flu this bad.

Prayer is PID for your mind.

[Pretend Ben Krasnow @WatchMeMakeStuf]

@brouhaha Also regrettably I don't have LOS. Is there anything better at blasting through foliage than 900mhz? I can get some towers up.

[Pretend Ben Krasnow @WatchMeMakeStuf]

@AKAMEDIASYSTEM If the dishes can't work I might give this a shot. Thanks for the ideas, any others you have are appreciated.

[Pretend Ben Krasnow @WatchMeMakeStuf]

@AKAMEDIASYSTEM I could bounce a laser off of. I will have to see, but this could be something. Obviously weather etc would affect the link

[Pretend Ben Krasnow @WatchMeMakeStuf]

@AKAMEDIASYSTEM I thought Ronja was an Indian guy who could help me install. I don't have line of sight, but I might have a landmark

[Pretend Ben Krasnow @WatchMeMakeStuf]

@AKAMEDIASYSTEM Yes exactly. Or even at >200kbits would probably be fine. I am considering buying a pair of 900mhz dishes as an alternative.

[Pretend Ben Krasnow @WatchMeMakeStuf]

@AKAMEDIASYSTEM mmmmmmm the phone company? Not sure I follow you, my scheme would not involve an ISP. If it would work, which sounds like no

[Pretend Ben Krasnow @WatchMeMakeStuf]

@brouhaha Thank you. DSL is not available at either location. The distance going through the CO is probably ~<5mi one to the other. But OK.

[Pretend Ben Krasnow @WatchMeMakeStuf]

@ecbanks @ciscovoicedude More like winbox hero

[Pretend Ben Krasnow @WatchMeMakeStuf]

@nerobro I think I did once when I tried to reheat a can of spam.

Two houses within 3 miles of each other-- Is it possible to set up a LAN between them using DSL modems, over the existing phone line?
