@metroadlib I loved moments like that. I remember once having like, five minutes to bang somethingorother together, co-worker peering over my shoulder telling me I'd never make it, and me saying "Sure I will. Watch." Can do a lot in five minutes, especially when someone's betting you can't.

@alibrooke4ever I signed up for an 8 o'clock calculus class in winter term of my freshman year at Michigan State. It is DARK at 0800 in Michigan in January, and also damn cold. I didn't learn much calculus that term, but I learned a lot about how not to schedule classes.

@VitalVegas I once had a guy near me getting madder and madder that the video poker machine wasn't, I dunno, giving him quads on every hand or something, and hitting the machine. I actually filled a straight at one point and wondered what his reaction to THAT might have been.... 😆
