what has been seen to be good and holy through the history of Western culture is Christianity. I think this is an opportunity to talk about why that is, not a chance to be judgmental and respond as victims.

I wouldn't want to claim being a 'key' complementarian advocate, but I think women being trained theologically to serve and lead alongside men in the church is the proper picture of biblical complementarianism.
The comments are very disheartening.
But here we have another opportunity for key complementarian advocates on this platform to publicly remind ppl that authentic complementarianism has always encouraged the faithful ministry & service of women (see next comment).
